Nazca doesn't have commercial flights to Lima. The small airport is only for Nazca Lines sightseeing flights. So ground transport is your only option unless you backtrack to Ica or Pisco first, which doesn't save time.

Yes, it's a 15-minute detour from the highway near Ica. A quick photo stop is fine if you have time built into your schedule. A full visit with sandboarding would need 2+ hours, so only if your flight is much later.

We typically stop once near Ica (2 hours into the drive) and can stop again near Chincha (3.5 hours in). Both have clean gas station facilities, coffee, and snacks. Just let the driver know when you need a break.

The Panamericana is Peru's main coastal highway and heavily traveled. It's well-paved and patrolled. Our drivers are experienced with this specific route and know every kilometer. Night driving is less scenic but equally safe on this stretch.

Per vehicle. A sedan costs the same whether there's one passenger or three. For groups, splitting the van fare among 4-6 people makes it very competitive with bus tickets, and infinitely more comfortable.
